Mackenzie’s new work is a fully illustrated chronological account of
is backed up with a supplementary volume containing more detailed and
fully referenced accounts of certain parts of MacMillan history, the
sources for that history and the origin of the name, along with
additional information about the clan’s sept and related names,
examples of Project MAOL [Macmillan Ancestry On-Line}
in action, and lists of M’millans recorded from 1132 to 1800.
volumes are Crown Quarto size (approx. 10” x 7½”).
The Standard Edition of the New History contains 209 pages plus the
index (the Special Edition will contain an additional four pages of
